This was another incredible table at the Grace Ormonde Shoot with Reine Mihtla. The current edition is featuring some of Vancouver's top vendors, this table being one of them. The flowers were done by Hilary Miles, the styling by Simon Cooksley. Gorgeous... and that doesn't begin to describe the fragrance coming from this exquisite creation.
Grace Ormonde Tabletop Shoot | CountDown Events
When Reine Mihtla (Reine Weddings) asked me to assist at the Grace Ormonde shoot at the Vancouver Club, I was so excited because shooting with Reine is always so much fun, and I knew that Vancouver's top vendors were going to be there. All the tables were over the top stunning, and Soha's, from Countdown Events, was no exception.
This was my first time meeting Soha. My first impression: organized, creative, gorgeous, accomplished, elegant, an expert in what she does... and she pulls it all off in such a calm, collected way. The more time I spent with her, the more I liked her. The first table she designed, as shown below, was rich and deep in color... red roses and purple lilacs, deep burgundy calas... so very striking and glamorous. The other, a complete contrast in soft pinks and creams, I can't show until it's published in a future edition of Grace Ormonde Wedding Style.
Something Pretty...
This morning I just wanted to look at something pretty...
Truffe | Schokolade & Lifestyle
I love exploring and not knowing what lies around each corner, the anticipation of what you might see. Better yet, I love turning a corner and discovering a little hole in the wall filled with treasures. In my wanderings through Zurich I came across Truffe, and was drawn in by the elegant window display (ok... and the promise of chocolate!). It was not only filled with chocolate from around the world, but also luxurious accessories and elegant gifts, including tea, wine, books and dishes. Elisabetta created an exquisite concept store filled with treasures... and while I sipped my real hot chocolate, I got lost in all the wonderful details that separate Truffe from all others. Truly beautiful Elisabetta! Thank you for the wonderful conversation and tasty hot chocolate!
Flowershop
I couldn't help but admire the details of these two flowershops I came across in Zurich...

Make it your own... part 2
Chris & Cristi had their intimate wedding in Kauai. The details were simple yet striking. Bright, tropical flowers and an aisle made from orchids. Not to mention an open air restaurant overlooking the ocean where dinner was served to close friends and family. And the bride and groom... absolutely stunning.
Will & Alana Now this was a wedding to remember. A three day affair at Shawnigan Lake filled with tennis and swimming, buffet lunches and evening dancing. Surprise musicians at the end of the ceremony and a reception hall transformed into a crystal wonderland were just a few of the details that made this such a unique day.
Nick & Arli The sun shone brightly on this beautiful Fall day, making the ceremony at Van Deusen Gardens that much more spectacular. The reception was filled with so many personal touches, including tiers of cupcakes that were to die for. The speeches were both humorous and sentimental, the food so very tasty, and the dancing went into the morning hours.
Shaun & Kim Set in the picturesque Mayan Riviera, the wedding ceremony was absolutely gorgeous, taking place on a sandy beach on the Caribbean Ocean. Purple bridesmaid dresses and pastel roses, sandals and sunglasses, and a reception under palm trees and a starry night. Incredible.
