A couple weeks ago I got to enjoy a lovely afternoon with my cousin and her husband... and their darling son, Noah.
You are truly a beautiful family. I'm so lucky to have you in my life!

With only a month left before she delivers twins, Milva is absolutely radiant. I loved watching how the two have adapted to the pregnancy... Ryan helping her do the little things that Milva can no longer do with her beautiful tummy in the way anymore. They are such a sweet couple.
I can't wait to meet the new addition to the family! Thanks for such a fun day... xoxo
This past weekend was my grandmother's 80th birthday. 80 years... and still her beauty radiates like no other. For her whole life, she has taken care of her family. She's kept us warm, first sewing and knitting clothes for her children, then grandchildren and now great-grandchildren. She feeds our bodies with delicious cooking and baking, and no-one ever leaves her house empty handed. But most importantly, she feeds our hearts and souls with an unconditional love in a way only she knows how.
I am so blessed to be part of this family. It is made of a fabric woven of love and hope, mistakes made, lessons taught and knowledge gained. It is made of forgiveness and acceptance. It is the net that catches me when I fall, it is the support that encourages me to follow my dreams. It is everything... and it all started with this amazing woman whom I call Grandma. I see her in all of us, some have her eyes, some her smile... but I can only hope to have even a sliver of her spirit, this beautiful, enduring spirit that keeps her radiant today.
You are our treasure, Grandma, in every way. Happy 80th Birthday... xoxo
Madelyn smiled right from the start. Beautiful blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and easy to laugh. Almost a year old, she's not quite walking, but you know her little legs are eager to go explore her growing world.
Jaimie and Trevor, thank you for the great day... such a beautiful family!
I have known Sheree for as long as I can remember. Being older than myself, we didn't share the same classes in high school, but at one point, we did share an intense love for New Kids on the Block (aka NKOTB) ;)
Sheree has such an exuberant energy, it's hard not to smile when she is around. Apparently Blake feels the same way, because I only see him grinning ear to ear when she is by his side. There is a tenderness between them... and so much laughter.
Both the day before and after were a mixed bag, but the sun shone in a near cloudless sky for them. It was an idylic wedding on the lake with so many beautiful details. It was perfect.
It was an honor to share in your special day. I had so much fun... I wish you endless love and laughter! xoxo
This is exactly why I love what I do so much... I get to hang out with really amazing people. Some of them just happen to be pint-sized, energy fueled, adorable kids. Ryan and Farah were so much fun to be around, but more than anything, I loved watching the connection they had, the way Ryan put a proud arm around his younger sister, how he kept tickling her to make her laugh...
Shannon, you are so stunning and so sweet... thank you... xoxo.
It never really goes as planned, especially when babies and children are involved. We can plan outfits and shots we want to take, but ultimately, if they are not in the mood... well, it's just not going to happen.
Sam was 10 days old for this shoot, and overall, he did a really good job. Most of my favorites are when he's not being the 'perfect baby'. Chris and Emma's golden retriever was wonderful with the new addition to the family, but whenever Sam cried, Reese got nervous and licked Sam's face and hands to calm him... I have a feeling Reese will fast become Sam's best friend.
Sam wasn't so happy in this moment...
Notice the concern on Reese's face? He was so adorable, he just wanted to help!
