STUNNING she is...
They feared rain, but it turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year. Not a cloud in the sky... it was a beautiful day for a wedding. The light at the Marine Drive Golf Course was as good as it gets! Debbie was one of the most organized brides I've ever seen, then I remembered she's an event organizer on a grand scale and it all made sense. As you can see, she also has the most perfect skin I have ever seen.
Debbie and Curtis, I hope you are enjoying Africa! It was such an honor to share in your day! Thank you and much love!
When I first met Derek and Trina, I fell in love with them, I fell in love with their love. The way they look at each other, the way they talk, the way they touch... it is with such tenderness and adoration. Their story is a long one. They were set up through mutual friends years back, but it wasn't the right time. Years later their paths crossed once again, they saw each other through new eyes... and there was no looking away.
Derek and Trina had an intimate ceremony at Brix. I absolutely love this venue with all the brick and vine. Surrounded by wonderful friends and family (some coming all the way from Germany), they celebrated the beginning of what is to be an amazing life together.
Thank you, Derek and Trina, for letting me share with your friends and family in an incredibly special day! xoxo
Houston and Debra were married at St. Peter's Church in New Westminster. Against the stark blue sky, the white facade was stunning. Then it was off to Hycroft Mansion where we were transported into a land that felt like the Old World. The details both inside and out were incredible, from the chandeliers to the garden statues, from the tapestries to the pillared veranda.
Debra and Houston, it was such a pleasure to spend the day with you. May the rest of your days together be filled with endless love and laughter!
Debra has the best laugh ever!
I've had the pleasure of knowing Katherine Horsman for many years now. When you first meet Kath, it is blazingly obvious that she is an absolutely stunning woman with insane style. But once you spend time with her, you will quickly find she is so much more. Kath is one of the most interesting, funny, and sincere women I know. I was so excited to collaborate on some photoshoots for her blog because I knew it would not only be effortless (as she seems to make everything), but also so much fun! Which it was...
Here are a few of my favorites, but please check out her fabulous blog, Bullet With Butterfly Wings, for more of lil kate's exceptional taste.
I met Laura and Pat a few years ago through one of my best friends. It has been such a pleasure getting to know them- Laura is about the sweetest person you'll ever meet, and Pat is one of the funniest.
The wedding was held at Terminal City Club in Vancouver. Friends and family gathered from near and far to celebrate this lovely couple. The day was perfect in every way. Thank you so much for letting me share in it... xoxo.
