Tarnjit & Rob | A Sikh Wedding rich in love and color

It was the end of September, so you never really know what you are going to get in Vancouver. Unfortunately, this September 28th had dark and stormy skies and was pouring with rain. But not even this could phase Tarnjit and Rob. And this is why I love them so much. They are so laid back... but more than that, they knew it would be a perfect day no matter what the weather did. The most important thing to them was to be around their family and friends for this special occasion. And it truly was a special day with so much love...

Eventually the clouds parted long enough to take some outdoor portraits, and the sun even shone long enough to bless their day.

Rob and Tarnjit, I feel so blessed to have spent time with you this past year. You are the reason why I love my job so much. I wish you a lifetime together filled with love and light and laughter... xoxo

Joie De Vivre | Claire Pettibone & Marchesa Inspiration

I’m so in love with this collection of images from a recent shoot designed by Soha Lavin of CountDown Events. Inspired by the latest wave of Bohemia, an incredible grove nestled against a gorgeous stone structure, and the beautiful Claire Pettibone and Marchesa goddess-like dresses.  All the incredible bouquets, romantic and un-done, were created by Celsia Floral. One of our favorite features was a custom chandelier by Mia Dungeon, beautiful pearl cakes from Sweet Bake Shop, and exquisite jewelry from Elsa Corsi. Huge thanks to Nadia Albano who always goes above and beyond and worked her artistry on our lovely model. Thanks to Laura Lavender for her stunning calligraphy and Upright Decor and The Cross for supplying all the beautiful details.

Teresa & Savio | Holy Rosary Cathedral & The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

This was such a beautiful wedding... from the classically beautiful cathedral to the bright Chinese dresses to the gorgeous sunlight that shone to the endless details that filled the ballroom. And of course, dare I forget to mention the incredible bride and groom. Always smiling, always calm, always up for anything. It was a perfect day surrounded by so many of their loved ones...

Jennifer & Oliver | Rowena's Inn Wedding | Rustic Elegance

Rowena's Inn is one of my favorite outdoor venues. Nestled along the inlet near Harrison, it truly is a special place.
I was so excited for this wedding, mostly because I got to spend the whole day with Jen and Oliver. Not only are they just incredibly fun to be around, but they are both so darn nice! So considerate and so loving... they made this day about all their friends and family. Jen had so many beautiful touches and details throughout the day... but I really fell in love with the table decor. From the rustic chairs to the brass vases and candle holders, to the soft yet vibrant flowers to the bunches of herbs wrapped in ribbon. It was all so perfect.

Jen and Oli, I have loved getting to know you this past year, I hope we can find some more excuses to hang out together! It has been such an honor... I wish you a lifetime of love and laughter, of adventures and beach walks... xoxo
