It was a beautiful evening to take a stroll in a park. Sometimes it's hard to contain my excitement when the lighting is just so... right! It truly was incredible. Aidon and Ella are such a sweet couple. Ella is a Bar Method Instructor and successfully kicks my butt every class... and yet she does it in such a kind, sweet way! Only Ella...
It was so nice to spend some time together. I look forward to their wedding next year in Jamaica!!!
Nix that. Leanne and Jesse GOT married! We had to postpone their engagement session for months due to rain, so with 2 weeks to spare, we finally got to spend some time together. For those that know Leanne and Jesse, you already know how they glow when they are around each other, how they are always laughing... for those that don't, I think their special connection is more than obvious in these photos.
During the summer I had the honor of shooting Tyson and Lena's engagement session (here and here). This shoot was all about their passions... namely each other... and cuisine and cocktails. We started at Brix Restaurant, went downstairs to George, hopped over to Salt Tasting Room, and ended up at Ginger 62.

The best part is that the engagement shoot is only a warm-up to their incredible wedding day. Everything about their day is a reflection of Tyson and Lena... from the swarovski-studded wedding invitations to the stunning venues to the custom cocktails... not a detail is forgotten. This will be the wedding of the year!
Dustin and Cynthia met the summer out of high school, and after 9 years of being together, they are getting married! Such a great couple, I look forward to their wedding in June!
I love the palate from this shoot, the soft greys and neutral tones. We met at Lighthouse Park just as the sun went behind a cloud bank, creating a soft glow, which was so beautiful on the lovely couple and their surroundings!

Jamus had a crush on Laura in grade 2, but it was long after they were done school that they actually started dating. And now, about 7 years later, they are getting married. What a great love story...
I love watching a couple interact, how they look at each other, talk to each other, touch each other. You can learn so much by a simple gesture. It was obvious how much Jamus and Laura completely adored each other, and there was such consideration and respect.
Jamus and Laura, I had so much fun with you both! I wish you a truly wonderful life together... xoxo
